History

• In 1982 Satellite Scanners was born as a satellite TV installation company- founded by Charlie Abbott, Sr.


• In 1985, we incorporated.


• In 1988 we expanded into retail of the new emerging big screen TV’s, surround sound and continued with the explosion of satellite TV.


• By 1997 we built one of the first AV design centers in the country and began sole concentration on the custom integrated home and its associated technologies.


• Also in 1997, we changed our name to Abbott’s Audio and Video to match our innovative design center.


• Also in 1997 Chuck Abbott (President of Abbott’s) became one of the original founding members of HTSA (Home Theater Specialists of America) and served on its original board until 2000.


• From 2004 – Present, Chuck Abbott is a dedicated board member for HTSA.


• In 2006, the times are changing and we are doing so much more for our clients than just audio and video, so we decided another name change was in order. Abbott’s Technology Design Group has emerged as the premium integrator in Las Vegas and Henderson.
